Ownzones Discover

Ownzones Discover it's a media delivery solution that helps content owners customise white-label OTT apps, leveraging their content libraries to reach wider audiences, increase profit, and lead programming and marketing decisions based on robust analytics.

My Role

I lead the UI design of the Ownzones Discover web app, using the same styling of components, shared with our bigger Ownzones Connect app. I worked closely with the product team that was based in the US and with the development team based in Romania.

Challenge

Create a highly customisable and user-friendly platform for our clients. With it they should be able to customise the content’s arrangement on-screen, metadata, and app layout, making it easy for them to publish apps regardless of the platform.

This apps are usually content heavy and require localised content. The biggest challenge was to deliver a visual interface where they can get a feeling on how that content would look like on any of their platforms, be it TV, mobile or web.
