Osmyk is a command, control and monitoring platform for on-premises data-centres, private, public or hybrid cloud services.

My Role

During the 10 months that this project took, I lead the designing and front-end prototyping, making use of our pre-built UI components.

My responsibilities included: UX research, wireframing, hi-fidelity prototyping, graphic design (branding, marketing and support materials).

Foundation for easy development

BForms

The foundation for the Osmyk project development was laid out using our previously build open-source framework, for ASP.NET MVC controls. BForms consisted of a collection of ASP.NET MVC HTML Helpers, Javascript AMD modules, custom CSS made with SASS that extends Twitter Bootstrap v3 and makes the development of rich user interfaces easy. As for the main project, my work consisted in creating the design of the components, customising the CSS and creating the presentation website.

This project summed up 123,273 total downloads on NuGet Gallery.
